  • Episode 20.5 - The Podcast of Truth
Because I was jealous that Mike and Dean got to chat about vidya games for episode 20 and I didn't, me and Dean decided to record an extra plus bonus episode... so here it is.
In this extra special bonus token episode, we talk about Nidhogg, South Park the Stick of Truth and Mike.

  • Episode 20 - When the Ed's away...
This week it's just me and Dean as we discuss new hotness Dark Souls 2 (and the Souls franchise as a whole), new hotness Titanfall and old hotness detective adventure games. Let us know what you think of this format, as, in all honesty, Ed is becoming more trouble than he2019s worth! What with the drugs, prostitution and paranoia. Plus, stick around after the credits for a bonus discussion on books!

  • Episode 19 - Downloadable Hipsters in the Dark
This week, Dean and I hog all the air time so Ed doesn2019t really get a chance to talk about the games he2019s been playing. Dean has been playing Double Fine2019s Amnesia Fortnight, I have been playing Assetto Corsa and DayZ, and Ed manages to squeeze in a few thoughts about South Park: Stick of Truth. Plus: your questions including steam sales and the current state of downloadable content and Dean quizzes Ed and I in a special Megadrive version of Can You Name the Game Name? Game.

  • Episode 18 - Kept you waiting huh?
In this episode we have a few audio issues - firstly my recording gives up a couple of times, then Dean realises he hasn't been recording since the beginning of the podcast (lucky we have a backup on Youtube then, isn't it!)
Eventually we get round to talking about the Oscars, Threes, Kermit the Frog, Solid Snake, Miss Piggy, Thief, Republique, Alan Wake and more.
If you've got the time, could you give us a rating on itunes? Cheers!

  • Episode 17 - The Derailleur
Ed and Dean kick off this week's podcast with a discussion of X-Com, Banner Saga, Resonance of Fate and strategy games versus their board game equivalent.
Then I come in to disrupt them with bad jokes as Ed tells us about Lightning Returns and I talk about Titanfall. Plus: your questions and Ed's trip to the theatre.

  • Episode 16 - Where we're going, we don't need games.
Ed talks about Threes, we both played Titanfall (although I have much difficulty) and we get into a long, rambling discussion about the validity of gaming as a mainstream entertainment medium and the horrible side of the internet and how it wriggles its way into gaming culture. Things just got serious.

  • On Board - Episode 2: Trade Routes and Fireworks
For episode 2 of the podcast we try and talk a little bit more in depth about some games we've recently been playing, and some of our old favourites too. Chris builds up trade routes on ancient island in the euro strategy called Archipelago, while I try and put on a fireworks display in the less demanding cooperative card game, Hanabi. After that Chris gives us some Kickstarter picks (that may be out of date now sorry), and we talk about a couple of games we love... you'll have to listen to hear what they are though.

All of this plus much, much including your emails.

In typically shambolic style, we discuss what we've been playing, including Batman: Arkham City, Alundra, Dynasty Warriors Next, Ridge Racer Type 4 and more.
