Apparently the car scene may have Lydia and Stiles in the same car, but it's not before the flash forward where they are separate. And apparently Maliuggh doesn't die and is there.

Also, the reason Derek comes back is to help Chris intercept a liquid form of wolfsbane that Gerard wants. Kate is alive and disguised as FBI (because of course she is). She of course steals the wolfsbane, but she may or may not kill Gerard? Still shaky on that.
