Tha MESSAGE - V2 -daBalkanimal & ABICAH SOUL PROJECT Chicago 2024 Mix
by Skender Makota daBalkanimal and DJ STAX
    original song.
Version 2 mix1 mostly LIVE capture part of a 6 song theme album.
For a few years back in 2000's I've had the pleasure and honor to share an apt and studio on Taylor St. in Little Italy hood of Near South Side Chicago, with a talented and totally underrated Chicago gem, yet well known throughout the industry and even more respected as a unique producer of real house music, DJ STAX aka Abicah Soul Project!
AbicahSoul Recordings is a record label founded in 1999 and operated by DJ and electronic music producer AbicahSoul.
Based in Chicago,Illinois,AbicahSoul is a division of the Lavish Electronic Ltd Music GmbH.
Abicah founded Abicah Soul Recordings in order to open a new dance platform as a supporting tool for young artists in Electronic Music..
DJ Stax (aka Abicah Soul ) grew up in Chicago during the days of the Warehouse and Muzic Box, and his deejay sets and production—like those of friends Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Paul Johnson, and Gene Hunt—are heavily influenced by the pioneering work of Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy. He began deejaying in 1983, when he was only 12 years old, and has been a staple in the Chi-town rave and club scene ever since, holding residencies at Smartbar, Club4, and Ohm and doing weekly radio gigs for WNUR 89.3 and prepartyradio.com.
As a producer, Stax has landed releases on Classic, Jellybean, Nite Life Collective, Rush Hour, Wha? Roots, and several other labels. An in-demand remixer, he has given tracks by Telepopmusik, Osunlade, Glenn Underground, and No Assembly Required (Dan X and Justin Long) the “Abicah” treatment. His signature soulful, deeply-rooted yet edgy afro-latin sound—evidenced by recent tracks such as “Musique de Ve” (Eargasmic)
Being roommates and living together, we made house music from the early mornings to late nights and did a lot of cool recordings which I never had a chance to finish..
Here are some releases that were really never put out or we just did not have a chance to promote them, but we will soon!

  • The Biggest Pain Shapes Lions Heart - V2 2015 Skender Makota - Chill Sessions "starboard" Mix
The Biggest Pain Shapes Lions Heart
    original track by Skender Makota
Artwork by my special girl Dorotea Hrenek, www.doroteart.com
    acrylic/oil on canvas
part of the - V2 2015 Skender Makota - Chill Sessions Chicago, all unreleased material and with multiple alternative mixdowns and live pa recordings of the same theme but in different style
This is one of the earlier versions, 2015, though the very first "original" was composed while in college back around 2001/2002
    "starboard" Mix,
My childhood was spent on the beaches of crystal clear and beautiful Adriatic Sea, besides music, boats are my passion.
Maybe also cause mariners remained the closest to proper humans who help each other and do whatever it takes, including risking their own lives, to assist those in danger...
They know that one day, it could be themselves who need help or die, and this understanding of mutual non-negotiable assistance to another human being in distress... well, gives me hope for al of the humanity back on land, intent on killing each other, but not even understanding the purpose of their evil doings... This is because there is no purpose other than evil within...
The oceans, the seas and time spent out there, gives you plenty of time to think what matters the most and what was nothing more but a dangerous delusions Devil played on them..
Eventually, their life on land becomes much more bearable, since they abandoned the fear, the hate and found purpose, cause negativity within is the biggest cancer of all...
This song, among few others, always had me thinking of the sailors out there, fighting the storms, raging seas, cold and shivering while dreaming of the home embrace, warmth of the wife waiting and children laughing... and eventually reaching the shores as the first lights of the home harbor appears on the horizon...
"STARBOARD!! Ten Degrees... HOME.. we're Home...at last..captain!".. screams the watchman, tears of joy and pain filled their hearts with hope and joy, while silently thanking their Gods and promising redemption...

Yebaji ga is a 3000 year old Yugocunt script passed through all generations to this day, as the most appropriate basic training in traditional approach theory of survival for an average Balkan men... who show above average level of intelligence, even surpassing those of turtles by some recent research done by Haynakafu University lab testings on animal subjects..
