It's October, and you know what that means – Spooky Season. And what could be more spooky than American electoral politics? With the midterms coming up, we take a look at the impact of UFO/UAP/NHI disclosure on the election, as well as the impact of the upcoming election on the ongoing disclosure efforts in Washington. Things could get… interesting.
On this week's episode of Skies of Jersey, we take a deep dive into the Pentagon's sixth tranche of UFO documentation. We feature the core of the 1952 "Flying Saucer Talk" presented by Air Force officer Edward J. Ruppelt, the director of two of the Pentagon's early forays into ufology, Project Grudge and Project Blue Book. We analyze and feature the audio recording and give it its proper context within the disclosure moment. We review the rest of the videos in tranche six AND discuss the recent Tehran "UFO" sightings. We get pretty heady in this one and run a little over our usual hour, so make yourself a cup of tea and join us up in the Skies of Jersey.
Skies of Jersey will be back next week with a regular ol' episode, but this week, we did an all music for Radio Garden State. This is just the intro for the episode, but check out most of the tracks we played here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3hJDrTQmPBsRRbOjWrUdFB
It's recently been reported that trusted and respected whistleblower Dylan Borland is also an experiencer and seemingly once made comments suggesting his belief that grey aliens are actually demons. And some (many, even) have some big, big feelings about that! We look at those comments in depth and dive into the topic of demons and religion in ufology.
With no expected sixth tranche of UAP documents being released by the Pentagon in early September 2026, we dive into some recent news about drone sightings at an air force base in Australia and what connection that might have to earlier drone swarms in New Jersey and elsewhere. We also break down journalist Ben Schreckinger's appearance on Breaking Points where he talks about his coverage of the phenomenon, as well as co-host Ryan Grim's insistence that we all now know what the 2024 sightings in New Jersey were really all about. (Note: We do not.) We got very silly on this episode and I hope you enjoy us lightening things up a bit.
For our last episode of August 2026, we're joined by two very special guests – our kids! In addition to the latest news on the topic, we sat down with our favorite possible guests to get their perspective and thoughts about the current disclosure moment. It seems like we're all on the cusp of learning some information that could have far ranging impacts on both the human family and our very own families. We feel it's important to give young people the intellectual and psychological tools they'll need to cope with the new reality that might soon be upon us by demystifying the topic, answering questions, and having a few laughs along the way.
Summer 2026 is coming to a close. It's getting a little cooler down the shore, but things are rapidly heating up in the UAP / UFO disclosure space. Look Who's Talking Now? David Grusch and Dr. Phil! Eric Davis and Captain Ron! Bob Bigelow and George Knapp! Danny Sheehan and anyone who will listen! Lots of confirmations and some new revelations. We give you the rundown on all of the latest happenings in the world of the phenomenon and try to have a few laughs in the process. Enjoy
Researcher John Malaska joins Skies of Jersey for an eye-opening discussion of his excellent Substack series. In Phantom Swarm, Malaska analyzes tens of thousands of state and local government records related to the 2024 drone flap. Lights were were spotted in the sky across all corners of New Jersey, and while many had very simple and easy explanations, some did not. And some of those were encountered and investigated in real time by local law enforcement. Utilizing New Jersey's Open Public Records Act (OPRA) framework, John has become the chief public archivist and analyst of the late 2024 drone phenomenon. We were thrilled to have him on the show to highlight and discuss his work.

On the night of January 18, 1978, a dozen UFOs were spotted on radar over Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County, New Jersey. One of these craft broke off and either landed or crashed at Fort Dix. An MP assigned to check it out got much more than he bargained for. We dig into multiple reports from this event, including the official New Jersey State Police incident report.
This entire episode is designed to act as the first part of the Skies of Jersey UFO Primer. Rather than examining the latest headlines, we go back to the back to the earliest days of the modern phenomenon, giving listeners a quick need-to-know briefing on some of the events you've probably heard of, but may not have know much more about. From UFO crashes like Magenta, Italy, Trinity, New Mexico, and Kingman, Arizona to the 1947 wave of mass sightings, from constructs like the Legacy Program to the Collins Elite, this is the first part of a series of east-to-understand backgrounders on some key topics in ufology.
