Hosts Dave Bossert and Aljon Go chat with Roger Allers, film director, screenwriter, storyboard artist, animator, and playwright. Allers is best known for co-directing the highest-grossing traditionally animated film of all time, Disney's The Lion King, and for writing the Broadway adaptation of the same name. He also directed Sony Pictures Animation's first feature-length animated film, Open Season. Allers worked as an animator for Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and worked as part of the storyboard team for Tron, which was the first theatrical feature film he worked on. He served as a storyboard artist on The Little Mermaid, The Prince and the Pauper, and The Rescuers Down Under before he was appointed as Head of Story on Beauty and the Beast and assisted as a storyboard artist during the re-writing phase of Aladdin. In October 1991, Allers signed on to co-direct The Lion King with Rob Minkoff. Following the release of The Lion King, Allers and writer Matthew Jacobs conceived the idea of Kingdom of the Sun, which was reworked into The Emperor's New Groove. Hosts Dave Bossert and Aljon Go review Disney's Jungle Book live-action film, Marvel Studios vs Scarlett Johansson, and chat with Rob Camp, animator, writer, cartoonist, comic book artist, storyboard artist, director, and producer. Camp has been nominated for two Emmys, a CableACE Award, and an Annie Award for his work on The Ren & Stimpy Show.

Camp started his animation career as a designer for animated series such as ThunderCats, Silverhawks, TigerSharks, and several other series produced by Rankin/Bass. He then worked as a designer on The Real Ghostbusters for DiC, and later as a storyboard artist on Tiny Toon Adventures for Warner Bros. Television. Camp was a co-founder of and director for Spümcø, the animation studio that created The Ren & Stimpy Show. He played a major role in the studio's creative force until September 21, 1992, when he left to work for Games Productions (a.k.a. Games Animation). At Games, Camp was promoted to creative director of The Ren and Stimpy show and supervised work on the episodes made. After Ren & Stimpy ended in 1995, Camp and former Ren & Stimpy writer Jim Gomez began developing a new series for Nickelodeon titled Kid Komet and Galaxy Gal, which was never picked up for a full series. In the 1980s, Camp worked at Marvel Comics as an illustrator on many comic titles including G.I. Joe, Crazy Magazine, Bizarre Adventures, Savage Tales, Conan the Barbarian, and The 'Nam. In the 2000s, Camp worked as a storyboard artist on animated feature films such as Looney Tunes: Back in Action and Ice Age: The Meltdown. Hosts Dave Bossert and Aljon Go chat about the latest Disney and Pop-Culture news and chat with former Disney Director/Animator and filmmaker, Aaron Blaise. Aaron graduated from the Ringling College of Art & Design in 1989 from the Illustration program. He was then hired by Walt Disney Feature Animation where he spent 21 years helping to create some of the greatest animated films ever made. During that time he worked as an animator or supervising animator on “The Rescuers Down Under”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “The Lion King”, “Pocahontas” and “Mulan”. In 2003 he was co-director of “Brother Bear” for which he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.

After “Brother Bear” he helped to develop several projects but ultimately left Disney to pursue an opportunity back home in Florida. Aaron recently served as 2D Animation Supervisor and Character Designer for “The Bear and the Hare” an advertisement loved by millions around the world. Aaron is currently involved in a number of film projects for various studios. He is also developing a short animated film called “Snow Bear”. Jerry Rees, Film director, screenwriter, animator, film producer stops by to chat with hosts Dave Bossert and Aljon Go. The team also talks about the latest movie and pop-culture news. Rees is best known for the Emmy-nominated animated film The Brave Little Toaster (1987) and for creating many of the visual effects for Tron (1982).

Rees was mentored as an animator from the age of 16 at Disney Studios, by one of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men, and was trained and taught at California Institute of the Arts, along with classmates, Brad Bird, John Musker, Tim Burton, and Doug Lefler. He served as an animation producer on the film Space Jam (1996). He directed the award-winning Back to Neverland documentary starring Robin Williams and Walter Cronkite, shown as part of the animation studio tours at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. He also directed the educational films Tourist from Hell and The Editing Story, which screened as part of the backstage tour at Disney's Hollywood Studios. In addition to his film credits, Rees helped produce and direct a record-setting 13 multimedia features at the various Disney theme parks, including Sounds Dangerous at Disney-MGM Studios, the live-action sequences of Cranium Command at EPCOT, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! at Disney-MGM Studios, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Disney-MGM Studios and Walt Disney Studios Paris, Extra-Terrorestrial Alien Encounter at Magic Kingdom, Michael & Mickey at Disney-MGM Studios, and the new Cinemagique show at Walt Disney Studios Paris.
