Not everything that looks good is good for you. Sometimes deception doesn’t come looking dangerous. It comes disguised as an opportunity, a relationship, freedom, or even compassion.

In this message, we’re reminded that the enemy will try to distort the truth to pull us away from God. That’s why we can’t build our lives on feelings, opinions, or what culture says is right. We must learn to recognize what is true by becoming more familiar with God’s Word.

"You don’t defeat deception by becoming more suspicious. You defeat deception by becoming more devoted to truth."

The enemy may change his disguise, but God’s truth never changes. Don’t just learn about truth. Live in it. Don’t just agree with Scripture. Build your life on it.

Stay grounded. Stand firm. Stay fully devoted to Jesus.

It’s one thing to know the truth, another thing to speak the truth, and an entirely different thing to receive it.

In a world that often values affirmation over transformation, we’re reminded that truth and love were never meant to be enemies. Truth without love becomes a weapon, but love without truth becomes compromise.

Spiritual maturity means having the courage to speak truth with compassion and the humility to receive correction when it challenges us. Because sometimes the people who love us most are the ones willing to tell us what we need to hear.

"You cannot grow beyond the truth you refuse to receive."If we want to become fully devoted followers of Jesus, we must be willing to let His truth change us, not just agree with us.

The question is: "Can you handle the truth when it confronts you?"

We live in a world full of competing voices, competing worldviews, and competing gospels. But just because something sounds like truth doesn’t mean it leads to freedom.

In this message, we’re challenged to recognize the difference between being informed and being discipled, between looking to culture and politics for answers and looking to Jesus as our true Savior. The world doesn’t just need more information. It needs the truth of the Gospel.

There is no spiritual neutral ground. Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth, and His truth speaks into every area of our lives. Our hope isn’t in a political party, a government, or a system. Jesus Christ is King.

In a world where opinions change, culture shifts, and emotions can pull us in every direction, how do we know what’s true?

Truth isn’t something we get to decide. "Truth is discovered." When everything around us is moving, we need something that doesn’t.

This message challenges us to stop navigating by what’s changing and start navigating by what’s fixed: "God’s Word. "Through Scripture, wise counsel, the Holy Spirit, and a desire to honor God, we can learn to recalibrate when life gets loud.

Because when our feelings and His Word disagree, "He’s North." When culture and truth collide, "He’s still North."

"North is North. Truth is Truth. And Jesus is Lord."

Sometimes we spend so much time asking God to change the people around us that we miss what He wants to change within us.

The greatest fight isn’t always against the person next to you. Sometimes it’s against the "pride, jealousy, bitterness, control, and desires" battling inside of us.

James reminds us that God gives grace to the humble. The answer isn’t to win the argument or prove our point—it’s to "surrender, draw near to God, and allow Him to change our hearts."

Because the goal isn’t just to stop being the problem. "The goal is to become more like Jesus."

What if instead of praying, "God, change them," we started praying, “God, search me.”

God has not called us to sit on the sidelines. There are battles we are called to face, moments where we have to choose obedience over comfort and faith over fear.

You may be facing a battle, but you are not facing it alone. "God has equipped you, strengthened you, and called you for such a time as this."

Don’t run from the battle God has prepared you to face. **Stand your ground. Step up. Give God your best.

Before we pray, send me, we must be willing to pray, search me, cleanse me, here I am.
