IT’S TIME TO SLAM!! This week Justin and Steve break out the knee pads and mouth guards to take a look at SLAMBALL, a combination of basketball and gymnastics that was the greatest hybrid sport since some nerd combined frisbee and golf.

So what happens when you put trampolines on a basketball court? Many people get hurt and viewers like to tune in to watch it once. From its humble inception drawn on a cocktail napkin, Mason Gordon’s SLAMBALL hopes were as high as its acrobatic players. Unfortunately, the grip of gravity is inescapable, and in less than 3 years it all came crashing down. Did the world need or want a new sport? Probably not. But boy oh boy are we happy about the insane highlight reels that will live on forever on YouTube. SLAM IT
