• My overall thoughts on the John Cena final run:

• Not a fan of the run in general, but though the second half was pretty good.
  • it really lacked any actual direction to focus on.
  • Once Cena won the 17th title, all the plot that mattered was finished.
  • Heel turn was stupid!
  • Can we stop comparing to Sting?
    • Who did Sting put over?
    • Darby doesn’t count. Before sting Darby was the Jeff hardy wannabe, who did crazy stunts, after sting he’s the same person. Nothing changed with Darby!
  • These comments from the IWC on the final match continue to piss me off.
    • I’m a fan of tradition, Cena left the business giving back one final time. The gift was a potential monster heel. The casual losers, and the IWC losers who can’t appreciate what Gunther is can SUCK IT.

• How I would book it;
  • Rumble: loses to Jey
  • Wins chamber
  • Loses to Gunther at mania
  • Goes to aldis and asked for a match against Cody was told to prove himself
  • Loses to RKO at Backlash
  • In MITB, loses to punk
  • Challenges Punk to a match at Night of Champions for the MITB, loses
  • One final challenge to punk night 1 of SummerSlam. Loses.
  • Aldis tells Cena he wants ti make the match vs Cody but Cena needs to prove he can win.
  • Beats Miz at Clash in Paris. Lesnar attacks him.
  • Beats Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.
  • Wins 1 one contenders match at Crown Jewel,
  • Beats Cody at Survivor Series
  • Last match SNME:Boston, open challenge for the title, Carmelo Hayes answers and wins.

• A few things I’m hoping for in 2026
  • Elite level story telling to come back now that Cena is out of the way

  • New stars to be utilized more
