Gunshots crack through the storm-soaked night, the house shudders from an impact no one saw coming, and panic scatters the remaining guests into every corner of the estate. In the basement, a desperate search for answers turns into a scramble for survival as the truth about the cook’s fate comes to light—and something far deadlier steps out of the shadows. Outside, the garage becomes a blazing trap, the lighthouse reveals its own horrifying cost, and uneasy alliances form between survivors who might trust each other… or might be the next to die.
In Episode 2: Sparks in the Dark, the Cliff House begins to close in on its guests. With poisonings, fire, and a killer stalking the fog-drenched grounds, the question is no longer who will inherit the estate—but who can survive long enough to uncover the truth.
About the Chronicle
Set in a stormy 1950s seaside town, The Cliff House follows a motley collection of heirs and hangers-on who are summoned to Augustus Tupton’s isolated estate for a week-long stay that will decide who inherits his fortune. Cut off by fog, pounding surf, and the cold sweep of a lighthouse beam, the guests must share cramped halls with old servants, locked rooms, and family secrets that never quite stayed buried. As suspicions grow and strange “accidents” begin to shadow the gathering, alliances form and fracture, and every creaking floorboard feels like a warning. In this slasher-fueled inheritance nightmare, the real question isn’t just who will claim the Cliff House—it’s who will live long enough to matter.
