Panic fractures the guests of the Cliff House. With two sudden deaths at dinner and the storm sealing the manor off from the world, desperation sets in as everyone scatters through the sprawling estate in search of answers—or safety. Tensions rise in the kitchen as suspicious clues come to light, while fear drives others into the winding halls, darkened bedrooms, and glass-sheathed greenhouse. And on the fog-drenched grounds, a pair of unlikely spiritual allies glimpse a shadowed figure moving with intent… one that forces them toward the old lighthouse on the cliff’s edge.
But the light in the tower reveals more than the storm outside. Within the Cliff House, a killer is already choosing their next victim—and the inheritance is quickly becoming the least of anyone’s concerns.
About the Chronicle
Set in a stormy 1950s seaside town, The Cliff House follows a motley collection of heirs and hangers-on who are summoned to Augustus Tupton’s isolated estate for a week-long stay that will decide who inherits his fortune. Cut off by fog, pounding surf, and the cold sweep of a lighthouse beam, the guests must share cramped halls with old servants, locked rooms, and family secrets that never quite stayed buried. As suspicions grow and strange “accidents” begin to shadow the gathering, alliances form and fracture, and every creaking floorboard feels like a warning. In this slasher-fueled inheritance nightmare, the real question isn’t just who will claim the Cliff House—it’s who will live long enough to matter.
