It's the return of the Slashercast Gameshow! On this edition, we are quizzed on our knowledge of horror movie taglines. After the game, we delve into a review of the movie Almost Human. During the review, one member of the show vehemently disagrees with the consensus on the movie. An intense discussion ensues. You'll also get a condensed version of the news from Dave on Episode 146 of Slashercast!

New Jersey Nick and Dave discuss the esoteric world of vampires and "zombies" as they review Jim Jarmusch's Only Lovers Left Alive, starring Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston.
Anyone can make a horror movie, right? Nick, Dave, and Jack put that theory to the test in a new segment called The Pitch. Each member delivers a Hollywood style pitch of a horror remake/reboot. Do any of us have a future in the moving picture business or should we not quit our day jobs? You'll also get Nick delivering the news, a short review of Martial Arts Horror film Rigor Mortis, and more in Episode 145 of Slashercast.

The old flesh is dead... Long live the new flesh! Hail, hail the gang's all here as the guys take on Ted's Staff Pick of David Cronenberg's classic Videodrome. You also get Mike's News of course and one of the strangest endings in SlasherCast history. This and so much more on 144.
Finally all five fingers are here and this week they go after the long anticipated Witching & Bitching (you know, that one movie they talked about in the news like a year ago? yeah, that one). And, as if that weren't enough to whet your appetite, you get the longest shortest edition of Mike's News (not a typo). All this and so much more on this episode of SlasherCast.
This week the guys head into the woods in search of a good Bigfoot movie. They find Bobcat Goldthwait’s movie “Willow Creek”. Do all of them make it out of the woods? Do all all of them make it to the show? There’s also a big Top 50 list that might make your heads shake or nod depending on your idea of what is a bad movie. Also you’ll get another edition of The Nick and Jack Show!
On this Side Effect, Dave and D.A. Chaney repeat the same day as they discuss Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow. Does the time travel concept borrow too heavily from Groundhog Day or is Edge of Tomorrow the time travel action movie we've always wanted?
Its Nick's movie pick this week and he wanted SlasherCast to learn about a Marvel director's horror cred. Slither was the first movie directed by James Gunn, the director of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy. A lot of people have said that this movie is an homage to Night of the Creeps, but what does SlasherCast think? Also, the guys have an extended discussion about their favorite horror movies that were that marked directorial debuts.
This week, the guys try to see if Borgman >= Manborg (spoiler alert: no, but it's a great discussion anyway!). Plus we have the shortest round of "Is It Horror?" ever over A Clockwork Orange, Mike's Barely There News, and more in this episode of Slashercast!
Dave, Mike and returning guest D.A. Chaney visit the past to save the future as they discuss and review X-Men: Days of Future Past. There are mixed feelings among this group about some of the past entries in this franchise. Does Days of Future Past reignite the X-Men series or should it be hunted down by Sentinels and destroyed?
