For our final Monday in September, we have special guests, film producer Travis Ayers, along with his students at Futures Explored. Today, we discuss The Grove, a film made by Futures Explored students and currently streams on Tubi. We urge you all to watch, as every view donates proceeds to the Futures Explored organization. This school is very near and dear to our hearts, as it creates equitable access to relevant programs, supports, and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Travis’s class focuses on marketing, branding and producing, and we are joined by his current students (Angel, Brandon, Blake, and Kevin).
The Grove was written, directed, and stars all individuals with IDD and is just a small piece of all the extensive and talented projects run by these incredible students.
