Even touching the box can bring months of bad luck and anyone who owns the box is taking their very life in their hands. Over the course of the German U Boat campaign in the British Isles and the Mediterranean, more than two hundred submarines were lost. While most of these were the result of attacks or accidents, two of the subs disappeared under more mysterious circumstances. According to legend, they were destroyed by massive sea monsters.

Part of the concentrated boom of industrialization Birmingham, this region became known as the “Magic City” due to its explosion of industry. But the old hearth and stacks hide a sinister secret: the site is reportedly haunted by spirits of long-dead workers. A legion of people who died on the job, falling victim to poor safety regulations and business practices. According to legend, their souls remain trapped in the furnace, and their agonizing deaths have elevated Sloss Furnaces to be one of the most haunted places in the country.
