There was an expression I used for that time at all those fantastical parties at Roseland between say 7am and closing that I called "the rarified atmosphere". The frenzy was over and now the masses on the dance floor and I settled into a long sexy groove that undulated in waves and moments..where everyone was onboard for what we all call The Trip. It wasn't just called morning music, it wasn't just called sleaze....it had just as many elements of peak. Everyone on the floor was just "there". I think you all know what I mean.
