Hello, this is Steve, and Iām thrilled to be back reading the King James Bible to you in this first episode of season four ofSleepy Scriptures.
Since I started these weekly readings in February of 2022, weāve completed twenty-four of the thirty-nine chapters of the Old Testament, and weāre on our second pass through the twenty-seven New Testament books. With just fifteen Old Testament books remaining, youāll eventually be able to hear all of the Bible here, at any time, read to you in the familiar Sleepy Scriptures manner.
I hope you enjoy these readings, whether you listen to relax and fall asleep or find encouragement, comfort and inspiration in the timeless words of scripture.
If youāre not a subscriber, you might hear anadvertisement or two at the beginning of each episode and now again throughout the readings. This is how I fund Sleepy Scriptures.
If youād rather not hear these ads, just follow the prompts on Spotify or Apple Podcasts to become a subscriber, or visit sleepyscriptures.supercast.com. I really do need yoursupport.
So letās get on with episode one of season four as I continuethe New Testament Book of Romans with chapters 9 and 10, and from the Old Testament chapter 6 of the book of Proverbs and the book of Lamentations.
God Bless.
