Finding Hope through letting go

What made the experience of listening to Sleigh of Hope (Grayson Brothers) the most enjoyable?

Being able to listen to the flow of the story and remembering characters from the previous books

What did you like best about this story?

That no matter what your age letting go of your past and being able to see that others have had as rough a life if not worse than you have.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were several scenes that I enjoyed but the end where friendship shines through the hurtful words was my favorite.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Riding a fine line between envy and hope

Very enjoyable story of young love and belonging!!! Being able to recognize that your feelings based on your past and moving forward a step at a time. Owning up to giving and receiving forgiveness. Honor is earned not just from your name but through your actions.

Narration - Julia Motyka - Really Good

So this is the Prequel to Adam and Rebecca's story. Adam finds a boy about his age (Leo) and his toddler brother in the greenhouse and ends up telling his parents and they bring them home to get them warmed up and fed. They are runaways from the orphanage and Duke lets them know they are free to stay.

Adam spends most of the book in a love/hate relationship with Leo. He doesn't want to like him, but only because he's jealous of the relationship that is developing between Leo and Duke.

The book is a lot about love, hope, caring for your neighbor, giving and community along with the plot regarding Adam's struggles to be a good man like his father and uncles. He sort of fails miserably at that in a weak moment and then spends the rest of the book trying to make up for that. If you liked the previous books in the series, you'll like this one as well.
