We are wrapping up with the Kenobi series by taking a look at the Sith Lord that we all know and love, Darth Vader himself. And just like Vader, too often we allow obsession over the past, a specific person, or our future goals and ambitions blind us from what is truly important in the present moment.

    Forgiving yourself is one of the hardest things to do when it comes to overcoming the past, but it is necessary. If we choose to relive the past, the anger festers into bitterness and self hatred and that is a road that you do not want to go down because it is a road that many do not return.

   As humans, our lives are always constantly growing, shifting and evolving. When we finally learn to forgive the past, the people who wronged us and ourselves we are then able to move on to the next stage of our development.

   The stories that we tell ourselves cannot change the past but they can have a negative impact on our future. The more we keep reliving the past over and over again, it blinds us from looking at the bigger picture and keeps us from moving on and growing into a better person.
