Sloppy Saturdays: A College Football Podcast

Michigan vs. Western Michigan had one of the wildest finishes of Week 1 — and we have QUESTIONS. 👀

Michigan escaped with a 13-12 win after a controversial final sequence that gave the Wolverines one more second to pull off the game-winning Hail Mary. Was this game actually RIGGED, or was it simply one of the strangest endings we’ve seen?

We also break down Bryce Underwood’s performance and why I’m not convinced his starting job is as secure as the public thinks. After the way Michigan struggled against Western Michigan, could the Wolverines be forced to consider another option at quarterback sooner than expected?

In this clip, we react to the controversial ending, Michigan’s struggles, Bryce Underwood, and what this could mean for the Wolverines moving forward.

Was Michigan lucky… or did something feel off? 👀

LSU vs. Clemson wasn’t just a Week 1 matchup — it felt like a battle between two completely different eras of college football.

Lane Kiffin and LSU fully embraced the new age of college football, while Clemson and Dabo Swinney looked like a program still trying to operate in the past.

LSU didn’t just win. They dominated, rolling to a 51-10 victory in Kiffin’s debut and sending a massive statement to the rest of college football.

In this clip, we break down why this matchup represented so much more than the final score — NIL, transfers, roster building, coaching philosophy and the changing landscape of college football.

Is LSU the blueprint for the new era? And is Clemson falling behind?

Let us know what you think.

Lincoln Kienholz officially arrived. 🔥

In his Ole Miss debut against Louisville, Kienholz showed exactly why we were so high on him coming into the season. The game turned into an absolute thriller as Louisville pushed Ole Miss to the limit.

Was this the beginning of a breakout season for Kienholz? 👀

What was your biggest Week 1 takeaway?

🏈 COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK — AND WEEK 1 IS ALREADY CHAOS!

Thursday night gave us two games we HAVE to talk about.

😳 UMass STUNNED Rutgers 37-21, pulling off one of the most shocking upsets we’ve seen in a long time. The Minutemen entered the game as massive underdogs and scored 30 straight points to take control.

🔥 Then Coach Prime and Colorado pulled off a massive 14-13 win over Georgia Tech, with the Buffaloes looking much improved and freshman QB Julian Lewis delivering when it mattered most.

And then we get into the MAIN EVENT…
