Masterful French artist Yuksek returns with his fifth studio album, majestically combining his love of Brazilian rhythm with far-flung dance textures via the vibrant colours of ‘Dance’O’Drome’.

His breathtaking new album shares both its name and eclectic philosophy with the Dance’O’Drome radio show he presents on Radio Nova, vividly expanding upon the kaleidoscopic musical universe he created with 2020’s acclaimed ‘Nosso Ritmo’ LP. A glorious fusion of Brazilian luminosity and esoteric dance sensibilities, ‘Dance’O’Drome’ effortlessly glides through diverse sonic topography. Formed with a magnetic disco core, explosions of punk-funk are pitched against feverish Italo refrains, the compelling soundscapes variously paying homage to the filtered house of seminal Parisian label, Roulé, the languid Balearic disco of Metro Area, and plenty more in between.

To celebrate the release, Yuksek has provided us with an insightful concept mix, best described by the man himself:

"This mix is a blend of tracks, alternatives and live versions of my new album with the addition of tracks I sometimes play in my DJ sets, some edits I've produced and some inspirations. ENJOY!"
