Today's chilly November walk takes us from Sirkeci station, up through Gulhane park and around Sultanahmet. We will discuss a bit about the blue mosque, the history of the Orient express as well as the migratory patterns of parrots.

Today we will chat about one of Istanbuls most gorgeous 16th century mosques - as well as the escapist perks of disconnecting from the internet and an explanation of what exactly is fasulye - as we walk and stroll the nearby area known as Vefa. Today's episode is about Istanbuls Ancient Golden Horn seawalls - the area vaguely between Ayvansaray and Eminonü. Join me for a brief intro to Istanbuls Old city, then lets hop a boat up the Haliç. I'll wander about, have some çay, marvel at the innovative use of Byzantine architecture alongside modern cafes, check out the Gül Cami mosque, dodge cars and be chased by small children.
