Tonight's Slow Chat is going to be sensational!
Its the first time Topher has had TWO guests... and they're not just anybody!
Krystle Mitchell, the former Acting Senior Sergeant with Victoria Police who recently resigned publicly in an extraordinary interview with Discernable and,
Matt Lawson, Protestor, Peace Maker, and the very first person to be shot with a rubber bullet, and he's still recovering physically and psychologically.
Why have I brought these two 'enemies' together? Precisely because they are NOT enemies and deep down I think most of us already know that.
The question is, how do we break the cycle of violence and refuse to be pitted against each other any more? How do we come together and deal with the real problem, the person who created this insane situation in the first place?
There's a lot to discuss, a lot that needs to be said in public, wrongdoing on both sides that needs to be acknowledged, and olive branches that need to be offered and accepted.
On this Slow Chat we hope to set an example of bridge building and reconciliation that will lay a foundation that we all can build on.
