We'll be honest: the original description for this one involved a Space Mamelük bending the spatial tissue of our galaxy and an "ATX multiband doppler audiotelescope."

We have no idea either.

What we do know is that the tracklist is excellent. Dark, hypnotic, a little cosmic. Maybe ATX was onto something after all.

Paul never fails to surprise. Long, sideways intros. Unexpected tempo shifts. A sense of groove that's entirely his own. Every mix he does feels like it's going somewhere you didn't see coming, and somehow it always makes sense in hindsight.

This one is no exception. It starts elsewhere and ends up exactly where it should.

The crew's resident troublemaker. More techno, a bit punk, a touch of italo. The only member who openly breaks the « slow rule » (under 125bpm) in his mixes and gets away with it.

But his first mix here is slow. Of course it is.

The tracklist is mechanical, hypnotic, a little cold. Tolouse Low Trax, Voiski, Benedikt Frey. It goes somewhere and takes its time getting there.

Sheu is one of the co-founders of OTTO10, a legendary Parisian party collective that ruled the 2010s.

Fun fact: when playing at parties, the man had a chronic tendency to speed tracks up. Make them faster. Push the BPM up. For a collective literally built around playing slow, that was quite something.

We kept him anyway.

So we asked him to join.

It started late 2015: drinks, digging through records at Horseshit's, a conversation about how "slow is fast".

The next morning, the Slow Is The New Fast Soundcloud page was born and needed filling.

ATX went first. Hooked on the counter like every play was a verdict.

A few of those tracks would go on to become absolute staples at our parties. Funny how that works.
