Description: This course explains how you can direct contract with schools as an SLP. This is different than being hired by the school district or working at a school through a staffing company. Direct contracting offers ability to set your caseload size, specialty niche (if you want), choose your rate, and much more! You will learn the steps you need to take to make this dream a reality in this episode course!  Earn 1 clock hour of continuing education credit (Introductory Level, Professional Area).

As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:  1. List at least 3 ways direct contracting with a school is beneficial for SLPs.
2. List 5 legal documents you will need to contract with a school.
3. List 2 actionable steps to get started contracting with a school.
