A realization that they all build on each other, and that It comes down to choice. The end cannot be the beginning, but a new beginning can be an end to what once was destined to end. making it an ending, but not of itself. Though a Phoenix dies, it burns into Ash, and reincarnated as a new, not more or less perfect, but novel and rejuvenated form. It reaches its highest point of being, it's flames burning brighter than ever, and this is when it knows it is destined to fall. Throughout our life, we think of ourselves as the phoenix - reaching higher and higher until we become complacent, even with our greatest dreams. But when a new dream, a new belief, a new version of Self, and a new understanding of what you live for, and what you would die for, arises - the True Highest Self is born again, anew. It may fly a different path, it may fly even higher, it may just stay in its nest having found solace in home, but it will still inevitably land back at that same end destination. A pit full of its memories, rights, wrongs, what it has become, what it never was, and what it always will be. Ash. I've come to realize, I'm not the Phoenix that keeps rising from the Ash.
