Hi sluggers,

The little hiatus is done with and we're back baby. We don't have a particular film to discuss this week. Instead, Michael and Erik talk about what they've been watching, Mia Goth's incredible voice, random movie related shizit, and Civil War (2024).

keep on sluggin.

Is your favorite specific genre combination mystery-thriller-drama-crime-cult-late60s-hotel-motel-California-Nevada-FBI-singing-casino? Yes? You'll love this! Anywho, Bad Times at the El Royale is not talked about enough, and you should give it a shot if you haven't already. Sure, the runtime is a little too long with it's slow pace... but trust us and check this thing out. Oh the acting you ask? It's nice.

Tune in with Erik and Michael as they sit down to discuss Late Night With the Devil. A horror film told through an episode of the fictional late-night talk show from the 70's, Night Owls.

You been lookin for a little Joseph Gordon-Levitt action? You wanna spend a little time with JGL as we like to call him? Well, either way, if you've been on the hunt for a movie following a bunch of high schoolers who act like they're living in the 50's and who are way too mature for their age... look no further! It's a pretty good mystery noir if you will. This week, Erik and Michael sit down to discuss Rian Johnsons first feature film, Brick from 2005.

This week Erik and Michael sit down to discuss the 2016 cosmic horror sci-fi weirdness that is, The Void.

Is it perfect? Well no, but it's got some pretty cool practical effects and some great body horror..... so if you're into that, you might be into this.

Erik and Michael sit down to discuss Dune: Part Two.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Dune part two is out of this world.... you know, on Arrakis. The cast is filled to the brim, it's shot beautifully , and Hans Zimmer is shredding.

Tune in and slug on, sluggers.
