JD returns from his Thanksgiving Turkey coma to pick his Locks of the Week for both the upcoming NFL games, and the College Football Conference Championship games.  He then takes a little time to discuss the level of suck that the Phoenix Suns are currently entering.

On this episode, JD goes over his locks of the week, along with giving away his first three "participation trophies!"  He also picks who he thinks is going to make it to the round of four in NASCAR.

On this show, JD, along with Adam Bird, and Josh Black, tackle Week 1 of the NFL season.  Game-by-game analysis is given for each one of the sixteen games on the slate, and bets are thrown around like candy, mostly coming from Josh Black (host of Welcome 2 The South), and JD.  Josh says the Patriots will (or won't) do something that they have only done once in the last 15 years.  Also, it's the return of JD's "Locks of the Week!"  This is where JD picks six games (3 NFL, and 3 College), and picks the spread for all six.  JD has managed an amazing 70%+ accuracy on his selections over the last 4 years.  So for those of you in the Las Vegas area, you might want to listen in!  Also, JD addresses the elephant in the room….or in San Francisco, and has some pretty harsh words for one Colin Kaepernick, coming from a Veterans perspective.

Today on The S3, JD has a full house as Hassan Kareem joins him studio and Joe Stojek and Marcus Carter call in on the HMG Sports hotline.  JD and Hassan break down the top QB's, Backs, Receivers, and defenses in each division.  Joe (Silent J) calls in to discuss Summerslam.  And then Marcus calls in to join in on the discussion about the best comedy sports movie ever, Caddyshack, along with other greats!

In today's episode of The S3, JD goes down memory lane and talks about his earliest sports memories growing up in New England.  He talks about growing up with his brother and playing sports with the neighborhood kids.  He also discusses some of the greatest moments in New England sports history.

Today on The S3, JD and his special guest Alicia Seymour discuss current topics such as the Manny Pacquiao return to the boxing ring.  Both hosts share their thoughts on why he is choosing to do so, as well as weigh in on the decline of the sport of boxing.  Alicia and JD discuss the current Olympics and the domination of Michael Phelps and the other US athletes and teams.  They also discuss the current status of the NL West, and the AL East, as well as A-Rod and possible playoff selections.  Also, JD asks Alicia (a die-hard Packers fan) who she would pick, Aaron Rodgers, or Brett Favre?  All that and more on this episode of The S3!

What a great show for today!  JD gets to interview Shannon "The Cannon" Ritch as he prepares for his August 20th Bare-knuckle Championship Fight against the defending Champion, Bobby Gunn! Shannon goes into his preparation for this fight, which will be the first sanctioned Bare-Knuckle Championship fight in the United States in over a century!  He also talks about some of his past fights, including the man who hit him the hardest out of all of his (more than 200) fights!  Shannon also discusses his preparation and what stakes will be on the line, other than the title.  Also, HMG Sports Chicago analyst, Marcus Carter, calls in and discusses the newly rebuilt Chicago Bulls, the familiar collapse of the Cubs, and where his fellow Chicago Bears fans rank among the best in the NFL!
