What a joy it is to boldly claim, "I will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 is a powerful scripture. With you, I proclaim that I choose to serve the Lord. I will see you tomorrow!

Abraham 2:22-23 reminds us of who we are and where we came from. We are God's children, and he created us! He loves us and sees us as good. And because he sees us as good, we can be good! Before we came to earth, God walked among us. If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then he still walks among us today! God is good! I will see you tomorrow!

Not a day goes by in which we don't face some sort of trial. It could be a one time trial or it could be something we have been facing for years and years. But trials make miracles possible. Take the blind man in John 9:1-3 for example. He was blind so that, "the works of God [could] be made manifest in him." And now we talk of this miracle today. And will continue to do so for eternity. God still performs miracles. I will see you tomorrow!

We are commanded to do good. Today we round out our Armor of God mini-series by talking about Ephesians 6:18-19. It isn't enough to just have armor on. The reason the Lord has given us armor is because he knows that we will be in circumstances in which we will need it. He wants us to fight for righteousness and he has given us protection and guidance for the fight. I love you and will see you all tomorrow!

The Lord has commanded us to keep our minds pure and also to share our testimony. Ephesians 6:17 talk about the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit. These two things finish up the Armor of God. Put together, the Armor of God is the protection the Lord has given us to stand tall today and always! I will see you tomorrow!

A shield is an essential part of armor and the Lord tell us that it is essential to the Armor of God. Ephesians 6:16 is the verse of the day. We are told to take the shield of faith above all. Faith in the Lord and in his doctrine and gospel is our greatest defense against the adversary and his attacks. God is preparing us and we must follow! God is good! I will see you all tomorrow!

Our feet is what we use to stand strong on the foundation of our lives, Jesus Christ and his gospel. Ephesians 6:15 teaches us to have our feet planted on the gospel of peace and to prepare. What does this preparation look like? Studying the Lord's word, listening to his prophets, speaking with God in prayer, and partaking the sacrament are just a few. Our armor starts where we stand. Jesus Christ and his gospel. I love you all and I will see you tomorrow!

Ephesians 6:14 tells us the first two things we need for our armor, truth and righteousness. God is good! I'll see you all tomorrow!

Today is our second Armor of God episode. Ephesians 6:13 is today's focus. The Lord invites us to wear the WHOLE armor of God. Not just a few pieces we see as important. He promises us that if we do this, we will have done everything we can to stand still at the last day! The Lord is our Salvation and preparation! I'll see you tomorrow!

Ephesians 6 is a chapter that talks about the Armor of God. This week we will talk about the armor and protection God has given us an how we can utilize these gifts in the fight against the adversary. Today we explore verse 10 and 11 and we are told to be strong in the Lord. We are then told to put on the whole armor of God. Being strong in the Lord means being prepared with the armor he has given us and using it the way he wants us to. The Lord has not left us comfortless. I will see you all tomorrow!
