Ann Dolin is a former Fairfax County, VA public school teacher. She received an undergraduate degree in Child Psychology with Teacher Certification for grades 1-8 and then received an M.Ed. in Special Education from Boston College in 1992. Ann has spent over 25 years in education, teaching and tutoring students from Kindergarten to College (and everywhere in-between). She founded Educational Connections in 1998 while tutoring one student at her dining room table. Since then, the company has grown to employee over 200 talented tutors throughout the Washington DC area and has served thousands of students.

Derrich Phillips was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. He joined the army at age 18 and served 4 years. His last year in the army he was deployed to Iraq. He has worked in the Cyber Security field for over 15 years now and has traveled to over 30 countries, living in 5 of them. Derrich received an MBA from GCU in 2012. He has been married to Requill for 3 years. They don't have any kids but do have a 4 year old girl boxer. Derrich hosts a weekly podcast that focuses on helping people follow their passions to land their dream career.
