  • Child-friendly networking with Faye Dicker of Freelance Mum

Faye Dicker - broadcaster, voiceover artist and founder of the award-winning networking group Freelance Mum.

Faye cut her teeth in television at a young age, before working in television production and then radio presenting, for both BBC and commercial stations.

Her busy voiceover business, means she can be heard on national television and radio campaigns, corporate and E-learning.

It was in 2014 that Faye launched Freelance Mum, when she found balancing motherhood around freelance work a difficult juggling act. She set about building a community for fellow ‘freelance mums’, by launching child friendly networking events for mums in business.

After 7 years of running successfully in Bristol, Freelance Mum launched 6 hubs across the UK last year. She’s run 100s of meetings, hosts a weekly digital coffee morning and an awesome online community, The Mothership.

Faye Dicker has been named Top 100 Most Influential Women in The West in 2018 & 2019. She was awarded Freelance Ambassador of the Year Award, for her work with Freelance Mum and Covid-19 Success Story in 2021.

When not found behind the microphone, or ferrying her girls to various clubs, Faye can often be found in her local lido and marine Lake (a rare occasion, when she actually stops talking).

  • Making networking accessible for the deaf community with Phil Coley

Phil Coley is a British entrepreneur dividing his time between his home in France and business interests in the UK. Phil has a background in sales and marketing for over 30 years, from starting selling advertising for a regional newspaper through to consultancy positions with some of the UK`s leading contact centres.

Professional qualifications include a degree in sports science, majoring in sports psychology and attending the 1992 Olympic Games. Phil has worked directly with Olympians, World and European champions across may sports.

Phil actually became a very young entrepreneur at the age of 12, creating a local free adds flyer in his local village and selling advertising space. The flyer had to be put together with sticky letters and photocopied – no digital publishing in those days!

Over the years Phil has set up and sold businesses, experienced highs and lows even losing it all. Today Phil works closely with his business partner, Mark Pearce, building successful businesses and working with other business owners to scale up growth and ultimately successful businesses.

In 2021 he set up Deaf Plus, a business network that is accessible to the deaf as well as the hearing community.

Outside of work Phil has three amazing children, two grown up and making their way in life and recently his wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Phil lives in France with his wife Kirsti and enjoys time with the family, exploring France and cooking with produce from his garden.

  • The English Speakers' Network with Helena Baker

Helena is a born and raised brit who started her copywriting business at the tender age of 21. Having no contacts she immediately started networking her socks off and attended most groups across London. With three groups locally that were both online and face to face she saw a demand for online meetings and last year founded Internationalesn with a focus on helping business owners right around network and grow their business. She now has three groups: professional services, health and wellness and creative. She currently lives in Tel Aviv with her husband and in her spare time enjoys riding her bike (Louise.)
