We review Stephen Covey's book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, which focuses on principles for personal and interpersonal effectiveness. They highlight the importance of internalizing correct principles, shifting paradigms, developing proactivity, beginning with the end in mind, managing time effectively, thinking win-win, seeking first to understand, synergistic communication, and sharpening the saw by renewing the physical, mental, spiritual, and social/emotional dimensions of one's being. The excerpts also illustrate these principles through anecdotes, examples, and dialogues.
