The company has a portfolio of assets in the Perth Basin, which is described as a forgotten oil province. After delivering a maiden inferred mineral resource of 14.2 million tonnes of drainable SOP at 4,638mg/L potassium, Trigg completed brine pump testing to estimate the aquifer properties of the lake surface aquifer. Resource modelling of the surficial aquifer has begun to enable completion of a maiden JORC indicated resource estimate during the September quarter. This work will also provide critical input to the company's ongoing scoping study.

Southern Gold (ASX: SAU) managing director Simon Mitchell joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s gold strategy in South Korea which he says has significant gold-silver potential. With a focus on the Yeongdong Basin, the company’s experienced in-country exploration team’s goal is to discover tier one deposits in a country that has seen little modern gold exploration.
