Andean Silver (ASX: ASL) chief executive officer Tim Laneyrie joins Small Caps to discuss the company's continued success at its Cerro Bayo silver-gold project in Chile.
The company's decision to focus on expanding the proven silver and gold footprint at Cerro Bayo after it wrapped up the acquisition of the Chilean project just over 12 months ago has seen it dramatically increase resource numbers.
Most recently the company achieved a 22% increase to the mineral resource estimate to 111 million ounces of silver equivalent.
All this at a time when silver prices have remained strong.
To follow up on the successes and geological achievements to date, Andean has commenced a new drilling program that currently has two rigs in operation.
Aimed at building on the initial base mineral resource estimate at Cerro Bayo, the drilling is targeting near mine extensional drilling and “greenfields” opportunities which it has defined.

Blackstone Minerals (ASX: BSX) managing director Scott Williamson joins Small Caps to discuss the company's early successes at the new Mankayan copper and gold project in the Philippines.
Just over two months after acquiring Mankayan, the company has unveiled promising historic assay results from the deepest hole drilled at the project.
The previously unreleased significant intercept included a highlight 1.25% copper equivalent hit at 432m.
The results from the hole drilled in 2013 by Goldfields were identified by Blackstone in its early assessments of Mankayan.
Blackstone’s study of the project has led the company to assess Mankayan as one of the best undeveloped copper-gold projects globally.
Notably, Mankayan remains open at depth and along strike to the north and Blackstone is preparing to quickly follow-up that potential.
Mankayan's development will be supported by Blackstone’s extensive experience in base metals mine development, particularly in Southeast Asia.

The PFS has confirmed the 100% owned Bekisopa iron ore project has the capacity to produce 2 million tonnes per annum of 61.6% iron average blended grade lump and fines iron ore products for blast furnace steelmakers.
The PFS also identified strong financial returns of $1.25 billion, a net present value of $233 million and an internal rate of return of 86%.
The PFS studies also lifted the mineral resource indicated tonnage estimate to 8.5 million tonnes at 55.4% iron from 4.4 million at 60.9 per cent iron.
Akora is now on target to take a final investment decision in mid-2026 and to make first shipment in Q3 of 2027.

Terra Uranium (ASX: T92) executive chairman Andrew Vigar joins Small Caps to discuss the recent acquisition of the proven Ottery project in NSW.
The company is following up the historic identification of gold, silver and tin potential of the project.
Terra made the strategic decision to add Ottery to its portfolio with a binding term sheet to acquire 100% of the issued capital of LCT Metals in mid-March.
The move has allowed the company to build on its uranium exploration success with the opportunity to target not only tin, but also gold and silver, with the precious metals only lightly targeted in the past.
The next stage of understanding the project's upside will see a focus on historic activities undertaken by EZ (now part of Rio Tinto) in the 1980s.

Barton Gold (ASX: BGD) (OTCQB: BGDFF) managing director Alexander Scanlon joins Small Caps to discuss the company's recent corporate and exploration successes.
The company recently announced an impressive net profit after tax of $3.1 million for the December 2024 half year.
The results included a December 2024 gold sale and a $2.38 million cash R&D tax refund bringing in $8.5 million in revenues.
The profit result was achieved at a time when Barton was outlaying a significant amount of capital on exploration at its Tunkillia and Tarcoola gold developments in South Australia.
With $9.2 million in cash as at 13 January 2025, Barton is well placed to continue its aggressive exploration and development programs at Tunkillia and Tarcoola.
Barton has identified an opportunity to develop Tunkillia at an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of approximately $1,917 per ounce payable gold (net of silver credits), ranking it favourably among current Australian gold operations reporting AISC per ounce of gold produced.

Wellnex Life (ASX: WNX) executive director Zack Bozinovski joins Small Caps to discuss the company's recent expansions and the receipt of key market authorisations (MA).
Most recently it received a MA approval for its liquid paracetamol plus caffeine soft gel.
That approval builds on the company's previous MAs for liquid paracetamol, liquid paracetamol plus ibuprofen and liquid mini-ibuprofen.

International Graphite (ASX: IG6) managing director and chief executive officer Andrew Worland joins Small Caps to discuss the recent $4 million grant from the Western Australian government to help fast track development of its Springdale-Collie mine-to-market battery graphite supply strategy.
That WA support took the company’s total funding support from Australian state and federal governments to $17.2 million.
The new funds will pay for essential activities to help propel the company’s mine-to-market strategy through feasibility to commercialisation.
The new grant will also be applied to the installation of Australia’s first demonstration-scale spheroidiser at the company’s graphite processing and research and development facility at Collie.
The Collie plant is a key component of the company’s fully-integrated graphite supply strategy which will see graphite mined at the world-class Mason Bay and Springdale Central deposits in southern WA and then processed at the first purpose- built commercial graphite micronising plant in Australia at Collie.
The fully integrated graphite supply strategy has already attracted the attention of potential customers and finance partners from destinations such as North America, Japan and Korea.

Terra Uranium (ASX: T92) executive chairman Andrew Vigar joins Small Caps to discuss the company's successes in 2024 and its growth plans in 2025.
The company is entering an exciting new phase of growth and discovery after expanding its footprint and deepening its knowledge as it moves closer to unlocking the immense potential of a world-class portfolio.
2025 will see Terra Uranium advance its recent transformative agreements with Atha Energy under which it will explore their Spire & Horizon projects and drill its core Pasfield project.
The exploration programs at Spire & Horizon are considered a game-changing milestone for Terra, adding significant near-surface prime uranium exploration areas with good year-round access and proximity to existing uranium mining and milling infrastructure to its portfolio.
An initial work program has been completed at Spire & Horizon with airborne geophysics comprising a gravity, magnetics and radiometrics survey and surface prospecting confirming anomalous high-grade boulder trains and prospecting up the ice-flow direction to narrow airborne geophysics targets.
Surface samples in the Spire & Horizon areas contain impressive historical results, with boulder sample grades of up to 3.53% U3O8, and Terra is confident that this deposit holds much more.
The company has also made significant progress on its our core projects - HawkRock, Pasfield and Parker.
Terra's rapid growth plans come at a time when the uranium market has shifted significantly, with prices surging to levels not seen in over a decade.
