As a practicing attorney, he has been selected for inclusion in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, a registry of the top 5% of all Attorneys practicing in the United States, as well as one of North Carolina’s Top Rated Lawyers.
He has given talks to various groups across the country, on financial abuse of the elderly, and has testified before the Senate Subcommittee on Aging in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Baer is a bi-weekly columnist for the Highlander, the Crossroads Chronicle, and the Clayton Tribune, newspapers, and writes a bi-weekly syndicated blog, As I See It in our publication, Age In Place.com.
