In today's episode we interview venture into one of the most chill and authentic artisan markets in San Salvador for tourists called El Salvador Artesanias. Here we walk you through some of the key steps in negotiating or haggling with using cash bills, while also highlighting the importance of knowing key words, phrases or sentences when speaking to and supporting local vendors in El Salvador. We also were able to purchase customized bracelets from a local vendor through speaking Spanish and knowing how to coordinate pick-up times, colors, pictures and quantity through Whatsapp.
We also interviewed shop owners Jancie and Rhina (Sylvia) about how they operate their shop with handcrafted and authentic products, artwork, clothing and souvenirs, and we also bought a handcrafted journal and prayed with and over Brother Daniel and Sister Anna after finishing our shopping experience.
