This week will mark one year since the Pandemic induced lockdowns began in India. This episode is about gratitude and also acknowledgement of what has passed and how the events of the last year have changed us for the better or the worse.
Some important actions steps in the end as well. Hope you enjoy this edition.
Amit has always been an entrepreneur at his core. Was interesting to learn that the seed was sown based on a board game that he saw at my house that I'd made when I was 16 and he was 12.
Since then Amit has had his shares of ups and downs and is now running 2 very successful businesses including the award winning Indian restaurants called "Daryaganj" which definitely has the best butter chicken and Dal Makhani in the country. Not surprising since he partners Raghav Jaggi who's grand father invented it.
Amit is the third of the featured speakers in the 21strong segment of the smashed bashed yet not dashed podcast. Listen in for some great insights in this episode.
Payalh is a woman who comes from a relatively small North Bengal town of Siliguri. She's had a pretty tough journey and has struggled on a several fronts but despite that she's persevered and continues to do some great things in the space of entrepreneurship and women empowerment.
Payalh will continue to shine and with her mindset and dedication is a person to watch out for. She is the second of the featured speakers in the 21strong segment of the smashed bashed yet not dashed podcast. Listen in for some great insights in this episode.
This was the most epic conversation with Grant Cardone, Mr 10X himself. Grant just starred on Undercover Billionaire which is now available on the Discovery Plus App. It is a perfect example of how one can be smashed, bashed and yet should not be dashed. Grant in these 22 minutes shared such pearls of wisdom, that this is one episode no one should miss.
Also please go and download the Discovery Plus app and start watching Undercover Billionaire. It's the best investment that you will ever make. Grant walks the talk and its made worse by the pandemic. In this podcast Grant shares what he was going through and just how hard and taxing the entire shooting of the show was. So much that we can learn from him. Absolutely Must listen.

I had the pleasure to host Deepak Srivastav for this inaugural episode of season 2. When you talk about Smashed, bashed, yet not dashed you cannot have a better examples of that. Here is a story of someone who looked death in the eye , faced financial misfortune, saw his business come down to zero and more. Words here wouldn't be enough to describe this episode. You just have to listen to it.
Love to have your feedback.

In the concluding episode of season 1 of the Smashed Bashed Yet not Dashed Podcast, I talk about that old saying of when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
It ofcourse is easier said then done. The year gone by has been a hard one and we're not completely out of the woods just as yet. In this episode I also give you a couple of things to try that have had remarkable results with me and my community when things were truly the darkest.
Thank you for all your love and support in 2020 and wishing you all a Very Happy and successful year ahead.
See you back with season 2 in 2 weeks from now.
As we come to end of what has been a very testing year. It's time to take stock and prepare for the year ahead. In this episode I share 6 pieces of advice that businesses in particular should explore in the days ahead.
There may be elation around a vaccine, suspicion about its after effects, doubts about distribution capabilities and god knows what else. But we need to soldier on just like we've done all through 2020, this is not the time to throw in the towel in fact it's the time for planning and taking quick action around it.
Here's to wishing you and setting the tone for a strong 2021.
This episode is called the Reboot, because everyone once in a while irrespective of who you are and how you’re doing it’s a good idea to switch off and just give the mind a little rest. Wouldn’t you agree?
So when was the last time you actually did that? Pause for a second and reflect on that … I mean when was really the last time you were able to switch off and take stock.
No worries if you can’t remember we’ll talk about some of that today and I’ll also give you a few tools to help make this process a little easier as well.
Now there are some people I know for whom 2020 has been a reboot, listen to this episode and do some of introspection of your own and let me know how it went for you.

I believe … that there is a demon inside each and everyone of us … it may be a little demon … but he’s there and he’s waiting for his opportunity. An opportunity to get some of your mind space and when the time is right , he hopes you will fall for the bait and feed it and feed it and feed it some more. Until he’s made you do something that you’ll regret for a very-very long time.

The dictionary defines a speculator as a person who is willing to take a risk and sacrifice something in return for potentially larger gains.
Sometimes speculators are even considered to be gamblers … would you agree?
But I ask you aren’t we all gamblers ?
When we first went out on date ? Wasn’t it a gamble
When he first had 2 job offers and we picked one over the other, wasn’t it a gamble?
When we started a business, wasn’t it a gamble
When we venture out in the days of COVID, wasn’t it a gamble ?
When we took the advice of a financial planner and consultant and put our money somewhere wasn’t it a gamble ?
Why am I talking about risk today … cause the world today needs more risk takers … people who despite their upbringing and beliefs, need to step out and try something that’s bold, something new, something that could potentially disrupt their industry, profession or life, something that could change the world or at least their world.
