With all the recent discussion/drama about unethical practices and fund raising, it's time for a discussion about a much broader problem.

Travelers need to have a map to reach their destination. A good leader will not keep the route a secret. Those traveling with him need to know the hazards that lay ahead to be able to navigate the traps along the way.

Trust, communication, respect and passion are good places to start, but if the destination is fame, greed or power then you are doomed.

A lot of states are adrift in a ocean of doubt, out of sight of a destination, no map, no captain.
