Tariffs could go “one of two ways,” says Dale Smothers, arguing that Trump will continue to try to impose similar tariffs after the Supreme Court decision. This could lead to a pause or even a pullback in markets. If the tariffs unwind and force the government to repay tariffs, he calls it essentially a “tax return for the American consumer” that could boost economic activity. He is overweight Nvidia (NVDA) for the long-term and is “buying ahead of earnings.” He thinks Nvidia is “priced for proof” and if they can beat, the market will react “favorably.” Dale also likes Amazon (AMZN).
