SMRpodcast episode 591 is online and ready for download.

We kick off the show by giving Chris gas for messing with the timing of our intro in the last few episodes.  He was trying something new, but, Robb and a few of our listeners weren't having it. Meta's new Twitter competitor Threads takes the internet by storm.  When we say by storm, we mean we've never seen anything adopted so quickly. UPS is poised to go on strike, Robb is bummed Tumi ended its lifetime warranty back in 2004, Rod misses Undisputed with Skip and Shannon, and Microsoft's Activision / Blizzard acquisition bid comes down to the decision of one judge. We've got all this, our picks, and more in episode 591 of SMRpodcast.

Chris, on the other hand, is one year in on his F-150 Lightning. GM has officially announced the Escalade IQ but, can, Robb hold out that long on getting a new whip? Streaming services are getting really expensive. Will we start seeing consumers getting rid of them the way they got rid of cable? Google I/O this year was all about AI. Google seems to be a bit behind Open AI and Microsoft with ChatGPT, but, the company appears to be all in on the integration of Artificial Intelligence into all of its products.
