On this episode of the Smuggler's Galaxy Podcast, we interview Rich Alot and D. Martin Myatt, two of the authors of the new The Vintage Collection Archive Edition Book. This book, which was Kickstarter in 2019, is now in the process of being shipped to Kickstarters across the globe. Inside its pages are a wealth of knowledge about Hasbro's Vintage Collection (TVC), and the authors graciously gave us some of their time to talk about the process of writing this book. This interview was conducted over multiple nights as we packaged books to be shipped out to Kickstarter backers. Our interview provides some of the behind the scenes strategy when composing copy, why the TVC was chosen as the focus of this project, how things were made, and why there was such a long delay in getting these books out to people. But first, Glen and Jason talk about their pickups this week, developments in their attempt to go to Star Wars Celebration, and dive deep (probably deeper than they should go) into the trailer to the new Disney+ Series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
