Snagit has a unique feature called "Hotspots" that let's you create interactive links and pop-ups that can be saved as a SWF (that's right, Snagit can create Flash files). In this tutorial I show you how to create a hotspot, save it as a SWF, and then place it into a PowerPoint presentation.

You can set hotkeys for just about anything in Snagit. In this tutorial I show you how to change the hotkeys for a capture profile or globally for all captures.

Snagit can send captures up to Screencast.com, which makes it really easy to put captures on Twitter and Facbook. But, truth be told, another TechSmith product works really well with Twitter and Facebook; Jing.

TechSmith's Screencast.com is available to all Jing, Camtasia, and Snagit users. With Snagit 10 we've added a nice little feature that lets you include a thumbnail of your image with the link. It's great for those large emails.

Page curl is a fun new effect in Snagit 10. I like to add it to simple screen shots that I think people may try to click on (come on, we've all done that before, right?). Save people the embarrassment, use the page curl effect.

Snagit had the cut out tool before, but it works a lot better in 10. Not only is it easier to use, but you can apply an edge effect to the cut. Very cool.

When we released Snagit 9, we got a lot of requests for changing the color of the Editor from black to blue or silver. Well, in Snagit 10 you can pick any of those colors. Here's how.

Snagit 10 let's you capture multiple times in a row and have all those captures saved in the Library. This is really nice when you're capturing a long process and want to edit the images later.
