Snap Back to Reality

After a bout of procrastination and creative blocks, Rylee stumbled onto one of her old reality obsessions - Gene Simmons Family Jewels (and more importantly, Gene’s son Nick). In this week’s episode, we watch as Gene gets back into his old KISS gear and prepares for the VH1 Rock Honors while his not-wife Shannon considers trying for a new addition to the family.

Sonia of Rewind the Love joins us once again as we recap the infamous table flip episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey. Sonia provides some local New Jersey context, we celebrate Teresa’s new bubbies, and things get wild at a dinner party (as tends to happen in Real Housewives-land) in this week’s episode!

We’re rounding out our month of spooky episodes with one of television’s best (or at least, most dramatic) ghost hunting shows - Douchebags Bothering Ghosts (or Ghost Adventures, as its known to the general public). Rylee is joined by Karina and Rachel of Peninsula Obscura to discuss the Ghost Adventures Crew’s investigation (more like provocation) of the haunted Riddle House. The boys employ the services of a psychic medium, spend some time taunting a tortured soul, and lie to us about how dark it gets in Florida in this week’s episode!

We’re leaving the U.S. for our first-ever international reality show with Most Haunted. In this episode, we investigate a haunting at an old English manor, Rylee’s mind is blown over the how old things are in Europe, and animals see (and are) ghosts!

We're back with spooky content this week as Rylee revisits one of her favorite ghost shows, Paranormal State. In this episode, the Paranormal Research Society team investigates the Willard Drug Treatment Center. They talk to some ghosts with a box, hold a seance that isn't a seance, and bring in the big guns in the form of a noted demonologist who you might know as well.

This week Rylee is joined by Danielle Gasparro - former pageant kid and fellow trash tv aficionado - to get the inside scoop on the world of child beauty pageants and break down a classic Toddlers & Tiaras episode. We take the private plane from Arizona to Arizona with Kelli and the twins, wax our eyebrows off with Tedi and Danielle, and spend some time with a couple of hard-workin' ladies, Makenzie and Ni-Ni. And the mysteries of pageant scoring is finally revealed!

In honor of the first day of Spooky Month, we're revisiting the NYC housewives as they celebrate Halloween. LuAnn swindles a would-be swindler, Jill discusses the economy, Kelly is the A (in more than one way), and there are puppies in costumes in this week's episode!

In this week's episode, Rylee attempts to quench her thirst for fundamentalist insanity by discussing the polygamist Brown family as featured on TLC's Sister Wives. We drop in on Kody's wedding to his fourth wife and the family's preparations for the day, including a giant glass jar filled with address slips, ugly brown dresses and butterfly clips, and a "colada" ring.

It's not a swinger's party, it's Wife Swap! This week we're discussing the legacy of the Heene family (of the notorious Balloon Boy Hoax) via their (first) appearance on the ABC classic, Wife Swap. We meet Richard and Mayumi, two storm chasers with a penchant for danger, and Karen and Jay, whose only goal in life is to keep their children safe. What's the biggest threat this episode - coyotes, tapeworms, or Richard's unbridled sexism? You'll have to listen to find out!

This week we're spending some time with the Gordon Ramsey of the dance world, Abby Lee Miller and Lifetime's insane reality show, Dance Moms. Rylee recaps a season one episode featuring some classic mom-Abby drama, the Delores Umbridge of dance, and DRAG QUEENS (really just drag queen, but still!
