Sorry to start the week off on a somber note - but I've decided to step away from the podcast for a bit. With my personal life being crazy, it's been tough doing the research and recording new interviews.

The 1991 World Junior Tournament came down to the two 80s hockey power houses. It was the Soviet Union vs Team Canada on Canadian soil. As the entire country looked on an OHL defensemen stepped up during the 3rd period and helped Canada take home the gold. Today he joins us to relieve that magical moment. In 1996 John McConnell the founder of Worthington Industries applied for an NHL franchise. Once awarded he knew he needed the right guy to lead the franchise. He tapped a Former NHL coach to become the face of the Columbus Blue Jackets named Doug Maclean. This week Doug walks us through the formation and inaugural season of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
