Snark Marks, A Very Funny Podcast

Well, we did it. After a few years and 200 episodes we decided it's time for a change. We will be getting back in touch with our roots and again becoming a wrestling show. The new show is called Wrestling Over Everything, and we will still be uploading weekly. We appreciate all of you who listened to Snark Marks; we've had a blast making it.

For our penultimate episode, we explore a space we reference a lot- the most unintentionally funny documentary ever made, Metallica's Some Kind Of Monster! The biggest rock band in the world got together to make an album and they accidentally created a masterpiece. Join us for episode 299/300!

The Snark Marks will be no more after our 200th episode. We're going back to our roots: Being the funniest professional wrestling podcast on the internet. Join us for our final 3 episodes and if you're leaving us, send us a note about your favorite moment or episode. Thanks for listening over the years. Who knows; maybe some day we will rebrand again again. Love you!

Dusty went to the dentist and is in a mood about it. Also, Andrew's friend is being catfished by two different accounts on the internet, and he discovered a summer camp for adults that we can't tell if we love or hate. Thanks for listening/watching/existing!

To wrap up a successful Marks Madness, we have perhaps our toughest assignment yet: deciding the best cool kids movie. These are movies in which we wished we were the kids in the movie. There's sports, go-karts, pirate ships, and a whole lot of 12 year old heroes. Enjoy!

We WERE going to do a draft of overplayed songs, but Dusty came in with a buzzer beater idea that we couldn't pass up. The boys do an auction draft of Saturday Night Live casts. Enjoy!

Boomers grew up in the golden era of rock and roll, and the songs that were made in the 1970s have essentially become the soundtrack to American life for a lot of people. In this episode, we decide the results of the bracket that we made covering the best dad rock songs of all time. The playlist for this episode sounds like a garage.Playlist for the bracket: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0dQfFyFgjEQdFjVkrTYkST?si=MyRwCjcnQSCksPQ2szhwVw

Well, we did it. We debated the bracket, we ran the bracket, and we have come to a solution. The worst song of all time has been decided, and frankly I don't think either of us are surprised. We also discuss McDonalds for the ten thousandth time. Enjoy! Link to playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3l2lgZEYc6twZaEMonBBpw?si=Q8JFIvltQk23KG1UCQk7Ow

Between 1992 and 1994, Hollywood became obsessed with movies about kids playing sports, going on adventures, and just being generally cool. The boys put together a bracket of those movies. Enjoy!

For our second Marks Madness bracket, we discuss Boomer Rock, or Dad Rock. These are the songs that were the soundtrack to your dad's worsening drinking problem. Get in your Pontiac and turn it to 11, we are bringing the bangers.
