He recounts the feelings through the journey to include walking into the recruiters office, Basic Training, graduation, pre deployment, the burying of Osama Bin Laden at sea, and training the new generation of Seamen in Chicago before retiring.

Evan Barrett, a Colorado native from Aurora, explained his journey to becoming a 2nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Currently the head coach at Fulcrum Jiu Jitsu, Evan has created such a welcoming environment for all skill levels at the gym. Focusing on how he felt during each step of his journey, Evan provided insight into the pressure of competition, enjoyment from teaching, the occasional burnout experienced, and what he views for his future. He also provided some background into how gyms choose who they train under and the training methodology that different people provide.

Brandon Forman, librarian and expert in Cryptozoology, joins the podcast to talk about the mysterious and unknown.
