We often make choices about how to use our money, time, or talents. When we choose to do one thing, we are also giving up other things. Today we will talk about some of the things people give up to gain Jesus. But gaining Jesus is always worth it.

The wise men in our story this week followed a special star that appeared in the sky. God put the star there to lead them to Jesus. When they arrived, the wise men worshiped Jesus as King.

This week, we’re going to hear the story of Jesus’ birth. He wasn’t born in a fancy hospital, and Mary didn’t have a special crib, bottles, or bibs for Him. Instead, Jesus was born in a place where animals were kept!
