Cs: Jolana zavřela dveře chaty, aby tam nepronikal studený vítr.
En: Jolana closed the cabin door to keep the cold wind out.

Cs: Za okny zuřila sněhová bouře a hustý sníh vytvořil závěje, ve kterých šlo stěží rozeznat cestu.
En: Outside the windows, a snowstorm was raging, and the dense snow had formed drifts in which it was difficult to discern the path.

Cs: Chata byla útulná, ale chlad začínal být neúnosný.
En: The cabin was cozy, but the cold was becoming unbearable.

Cs: Malé plameny v krbu marně bojovaly s ledovými závany.
En: The small flames in the fireplace were struggling in vain against the icy drafts.

Cs: Karel ležel na pohovce, ztěžka dýchal a jeho tvář byla bledá.
En: Karel lay on the couch, breathing heavily, his face pale.

Cs: Miroslav seděl u okna a opatrně se díval ven.
En: Miroslav sat by the window, carefully looking out.

Cs: "Sněží pořád více," řekl.
En: "It's snowing more and more," he said.

Cs: "My tady uvázneme na dlouho."
En: "We're going to be stuck here for a long time."

Cs: Jolana přemýšlela, co dělat.
En: Jolana was thinking about what to do.

Cs: Musela se postarat o Karla.

Cs: "Kareli, vydrž," snažila se ho povzbudit.

Cs: Miroslav přiskočil k Jolaně.
En: Miroslav jumped to Jolana's side.

Cs: "Ukaž mi, jak pomoci," řekl s odhodláním, ale v očích měl strach.
En: "Show me how I can help," he said with determination, though there was fear in his eyes.

Cs: Jolana rychle vysvětlila Miroslavovi, jak vysílač funguje.
En: Jolana quickly explained to Miroslav how the transmitter worked.

Cs: Společně se snažili naladit správnou frekvenci.
En: Together, they tried to tune in to the right frequency.

Cs: Chvíli trvalo, než se ozvala odezva, ale pak vysílač zachytil signál.
En: It took some time for a response, but then the transmitter picked up a signal.

Cs: "Haló?
En: "Hello?

Cs: Tady chata na horách.
En: This is a mountain cabin.

Cs: Máme zdravotní nouzi.
En: We have a medical emergency.

Cs: Prosíme o pomoc," hlásila Jolana do mikrofonu s nadějí v hlase.
En: Please help us," Jolana reported into the microphone with hope in her voice.

Cs: Odpověď přišla o pár minut později.
En: The response came a few minutes later.

Cs: "Rozumíme.
En: "Understood.

Cs: Dorazíme k vám co nejdříve."
En: We will get to you as soon as possible."

Cs: Jolana uslyšela ta slova jako zázrak.
En: Jolana heard those words like a miracle.

Cs: Otočila se ke Karelovi, který se trochu usmíval.
En: She turned to Karel, who was smiling slightly.

Cs: "Vydrž ještě chvíli, pomoc je na cestě."
En: "Hold on a little longer, help is on the way."

Cs: Venku sníh stále padal, ale uvnitř chaty bylo teď o něco tepleji.
En: Outside, the snow still fell, but inside the cabin, it was a little warmer now.

Cs: Chvilku poté se zaslechly zvuky přibližujícího se rozhrkaného auta.
En: Moments later, they heard the sounds of an approaching rickety vehicle.

Cs: Konečně dorazili záchranáři.
En: Finally, the rescuers arrived.

Cs: Rychle naložili Karla do vozu a začali mu poskytovat potřebnou péči.
En: They quickly loaded Karel into the vehicle and began providing him with the necessary care.

Cs: Jolana, která se bála samoty, si uvědomila, že dokázala mnohem víc, než kdy očekávala.
En: Jolana, who feared solitude, realized she had achieved much more than she ever expected.

Cs: Když odcházeli z chaty a sněhová bouře se začala utišovat, Jolana se otočila zpět a usmála se.
En: As they left the cabin and the snowstorm began to calm down, Jolana turned back and smiled.

Cs: Dnes se naučila, že i v největší pustině je možná najít cestu – jak ven, tak ke svému vlastnímu nitru.
En: Today she learned that even in the vast wilderness, it's possible to find a way – both out and into her own heart.
