Lv: Rīgā pienāca jauna ziema.
En: A new winter arrived in Rīgā.

Lv: Balts sniegs klāja ielas un mājas jumtus.
En: White snow covered the streets and the rooftops of the houses.

Lv: Gaiss bija auksts un svaigs.
En: The air was cold and fresh.

Lv: Ielas bija pilnas ar cilvēkiem un skolēniem, kuri ar jaunu enerģiju atgriezās skolā pēc ziemas brīvlaika.
En: The streets were full of people and students, who returned to school with renewed energy after the winter break.

Lv: Lainai šis rīts bija īpašs.
En: This morning was special for Laina.

Lv: Viņai bija jāatgriežas skolā un jāparāda savs zinātnes projekts.
