Health Secretary Michael Matheson has quit after an investigation into his iPad data roaming bill scandal.

Matheson has been under huge pressure over the £11,000 bill he racked up a family holiday in Morocco. He eventually conceded his children had used the device to stream football and paid back the money.

However, he faced claims of lying to the media and the scandal became a huge embarrassment to Humza Yousaf's Government.

An influential Green MSP has also raised the prospect of creating even more income tax bands to generate extra cash from the wealthy. Ross Greer, a West of Scotland MSP, is not a minister but is considered to be the key figure striking policy deals behind the scenes with Yousaf's Government.
