In this special we speak with Ghassan Makarem of the Agricultural Movements in Lebanon (AgriMovement: https://agrimovement.org/) about the concern of small hold farmers they have been working with over the past 5 years. Asked about the impact of Zionist bombings all over the region Makerem said "the impact is huge, there are several villages that are defacto-occupied now in South Lebanon, and they already lost their olive season." And now Lebanese Government is moving to enact a seed law that heavily favors multinational corporations over small farmers in the country as has been done in many other countries before. Makarem says these seed laws are modeled after others they pushed through "in India, Morocco, Tunisia."
