    In this episode, Chris talks about the process by which ideas move from inception to execution. Ideas are a great starting point, but without proper planning and curation, they will never come to fruition. Not all ideas are great, as Chris points out in this episode. Some are unrealistic or do not align with your daily activities. Chris is a proponent of documenting and refining ideas in order to ensure that they align you're your vision. He uses the Snyder Showdown Podcast as an example to drive this point home. This show originally started as an idea that Chris had which he wrote down and refined before deciding to partner with Harry and his podcast production company, FullCast. By taking the time to find the right match, flesh out his idea and apply action, Chris was able to start a successful new show. Chris stresses the importance of putting forth effort in order to give life to ideas. If you are willing to put in the time and effort necessary, then your idea can morph into something brilliant.

To combat this, Chris discusses how a member of his team proactively installed a cost-effective JIRA Outlook Plugin that allows Chris for more flexibility in project management. With this new plugin, Chris now has the ability to create a new ticket or issue, monitor the progress of existing issues, and view issues that are currently in the pipeline. It's an incredible tool, and one that Chris suggests all companies utilize if they have the time and wherewithal.

Fintech is defined as new technology that seeks to improve and automate the delivery and use of financial services. Companies within this disruptor category include Credit Karma, Revolut and NerdWallet, among others. Chris breaks down the multiple sub-categories that make up the financial services category, including lending, crypto and block chain, personal finance, wealth management, capital markets, and insurance, to name a few. It is Chris' opinion that traditional banks are not innovating fast enough to keep up with consumer needs. Thus, companies such as Amazon are entering the space to take advantage of this oversight.
